I stepped out the door and saw:
Look at that sky! No one told me to expect miracles as far as the weather's concerned, but there it was.
I saw a lot of "ordinary" things on my walk through the neighborhood:
I sat down for a bit of a rest three feet away from the following waterside character, whom the Irish National Museum of Natural History describes as a "Common Heron". I was soon to find out that here they are very very common. Being from a hot dry land-locked place, they aren't very common to me. So I was thrilled.
I moved on after a bit, to continue to follow the water until I finally reached the sea! And then I got to walk along the Clontarf Promenade with many other Dubliners, dogs, and children. I walked all the way to the edge of Bull Island. It was evening by then and the light was beautiful. The sun doesn't set until about 10 pm here, so it was a perfect walk. Here's some pictures from the Clontarf Promenade and the walk to Bull Island:

Amazing pictures! That is so beautiful. *jealous sigh*
Ever so nice. Your feathered friend is especially handsome.
Nothing as satisfying as a lovely day to take a leisurely walk among the wonders of a new land. Such a diverse record of flora, fauna, ecosystem and architecture. A day that you will treasure in your memory archive. BTW I read an excerpt from James Joyce's "Dubliners". Good writing.
Wonderful pictures! I especially love the flowers. What a lovely day spent discovering your surroundings!
