10. There's drama every day.
9. There's crying every day.
8. There are screams with every creepy crawly.
7. You have to sing or at least listen to a rather silly song before every meal.
6. The camping part is that you're not allowed to curl your hair.
5. The 5-mile hike is actually only 2 miles.
4. Your shelter is constructed of wood and concrete, complete with bunkbeds, a door, and ... electricity.
3. The girls you're supposed to be leading end up teaching and leading you because they're just that awesome.
2. You wish there were a little more testosterone around to balance things out.
AND, the number one sign you know you're at girls camp:
1. You witness first-hand why women are great organizers but men have the priesthood! (In other words, the two are supposed to complement each other. One alone creates, um, interesting challenges...)

Can hardly wait to hear about the "interesting" challenges. Hope you had a good time.
I like the 2 miles for 5 bit.
Well spoken my friend. But you are better than me. I always just sent the girls out on the hike and then read a book while they were gone.
Oh my, that brings back memories :)
I haven't been to girl's camp in over ten years, but I miss it. Lucky you (unless the interesting challenges were just that interesting).
I had a great time with my girls -- we have amazing young women! (And I even made friends with other leaders who I would never have gotten to know otherwise.) I'd go again in a heartbeat.
